Zeenat Aman Opens Up About Her Era

Veteran actress Zeenat Aman recently spoke about how the film industry has changed from her time to now. She said that during her career an actress success was linked to her marital status.

Once a heroine got married or had children, people believed her career would slow down. She shared that the “shelf life” of actresses was very short in those days.

Zeenat said she feels proud seeing many women working on film sets today. Earlier she often felt alone, with only her hairdresser as female company.

Now, things have improved and women continue to get good roles even after marriage.

Speaking about her OTT series The Royals she said that she was very much happy to see more women in the team without fail. The show was released on May 9th 2025 and later renewed for a second season.
