Anil Ravipudi scored a massive blockbuster with Sankranthiki Vastunnam, which attracted huge family audiences. Even before its release, Zee Studios bought the non-theatrical rights for a fancy price.
Now, the banner has struck another major deal for Ravipudi’s next film Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, featuring Megastar Chiranjeevi.
Zee Studios acquired the full satellite and digital rights for a record price, marking one of the biggest deals for both Chiranjeevi and Ravipudi.
Interestingly, Zee Studios sold the Hindi digital rights to Amazon Prime while retaining the South satellite and streaming rights. Despite Netflix and Amazon competing, Zee secured the deal by quoting a massive amount.
The film’s next shooting schedule will begin in September, and the makers are aiming for a grand Sankranthi 2026 release.
Nayanthara is cast as the female lead, Bheems will compose the music, and the film is produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmitha Konidela.
