Zafar Bhai aka Ali Fazal Reveals the Reason Behind Absence from Fukrey 3!

In a recent conversation, Ali Fazal disclosed the actual cause of his disappearance from Fukrey 3.

Since the publication of the first film in the Fukrey series in 2013, millions of people have enjoyed it. In addition to the 2017 release of Fukrey Returns, which starred Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal, Priya Anand, Vishakha Singh, Pankaj Tripathi, and Richa Chadda in key parts, Fukrey 3 is set for release in September 2023.

The third installment will feature every member of the original cast, but Fazal will not be there, and he has finally disclosed the exact reason why.

When asked about his absence from the film he said, “Bhai simple answer hai, dates nahi thi.” Additionally, Pulkit Samrat, who portrays a significant role in the franchise, revealed that Ali was filming Kandahar while they were in Delhi for the movie’s production. Ric Roman Waugh is the director of this Hollywood action movie, which also stars Gerard Butler, Navid Negahban, Bahador Foladi, Nina Toussaint-White, and a host of other actors.

When news of Ali Fazal’s absence from Fukrey 3 first broke, the Mirzapur actor released a statement addressing the situation. It said, “So Zafar (his character name) aayega ya nahi? Sab yahi puch rahe hain baar baar. Sorry saathiyon, iss baari nahi! Zafar bhai ko kabhi kabhi Guddu bhaiya bhi banna padhta hai. Aur do universes overlap ho jaate hain kabhi kabhi.

Once a fukra always a fukra, so I am around. But I won’t be coming on screen for the third outing of the Fukras, Bholi and Panditji.”

Talking about wanting to be part of Fukrey 3, Ali Fazal added, “I would have wanted to be part of it but time and schedules didn’t allow me to. I will be back in the future at some juncture, maybe sooner than you expect. Zafar will be back after a small detour to entertain you guys.”
