Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma are now officially divorced. A family court in Bandra, Mumbai, granted their divorce on Friday evening. They completed the legal process with mutual consent.
The couple tried to reconcile through a counseling session as advised by the judge. However, after living separately for 18 months they decided to part ways amicably.
Chahal and Dhanashree mentioned that their marriage was good in the beginning, but over time, misunderstandings and frequent arguments created distance between them.
There are rumors that Chahal might be paying Dhanashree a huge alimony, but neither of them nor their lawyers have confirmed this.
The two got engaged in 2020 and married in December of the same year.
