Two days after announcing a documentary on The Roshans, a popular streaming giant is all set to release another docu-film based on the life of Punjabi rapper and singer Honey Singh. Titled Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous, the documentary is directed by Mozez Singh and produced under the Oscar-winning banner of Sikhya Entertainment.
The docu-film will drop on the OTT platform on December 20 and will explore the life of the popular Indian hip-hop star Honey Singh and divulge the rise and challenges he faced to make a comeback into the industry.

The documentary will premiere on Netflix on December 20, 2024, promising an unfiltered glimpse of the singer-composer’s rapid rise, struggles, and his ultimate fall, along with the incredible return to the music industry. For the unknown, Honey Singh was originally named Hirdesh Singh.
Taking to social media, Netflix shared a poster of the rapper standing in front of a microphone and captioned it as: “The name you know, the story you don’t. Witness the rise of a legend who changed the face of Indian music forever. Watch Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous on 20 December, only on Netflix.”

As per the details, Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous will also feature the singer’s family and friends, who will be sharing interesting and unknown anecdotes from his life. Sharing his thoughts on his documentary, the Desi Kalakar singer had earlier said, “I have spoken about my personal and career issues in the media before but I’ve never been able to bare it all. I have received tremendous love from my fans, and they deserve to know the whole story.”
“This Netflix docu-film will give everyone an honest and sincere account of my life, my upbringing, where I’ve been and my current journey to return stronger,” he added.
