Yet another star joins Rajinikanth’s Jailer

It is widely known that Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth is working on an intense actioner, titled, Jailer. Being directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Beast fame, Jailer also has Kannada star Shivarajkumar in a key role.

Shivarajkumar joined the film’s sets a few months back and wrapped up a major part of the shooting. Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that Malayalam star Mohanlal is roped in for a prominent role. Reportedly, Mohanlal joined the film sets today. Currently, Jailer shooting is underway at a specially erected Jail set in Hyderabad.

Rajinikanth is playing the role of Muthuvel Pandian, a Jailer. Co-starring Ramya Krishnan in a negatively shaded character, Jailer also has Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu and Vinayakan in prominent roles. Bankrolled by Sun Pictures banner, Jailer has its music composed by Anirudh.
