Yet another celebrity divorce in South cinema

For the past few years, South cinema celebrities are seen announcing their separation from their better halves. After Naga Chaitanya-Samantha, Dhanush-Aishwarya, D Imman-Monicka, now the acclaimed Kollywood director Bala separated from his wife Muthumalar after leading a marriage life for seventeen years.

Reportedly, the couple already has a daughter and approached Madras family court for a divorce. Bala shot to fame with films like Sethu and Pithamagan. He is the man behind actors like Vikram and Suriya turning stars.

Currently, Bala is working on the script of his next that is going to have Suriya in the lead role. The project will be launched soon and go on the sets from mid-2022.
