Yesteryear actress Kaveri Kalyani turns director

Recently, Nandini Reddy, who has been in the industry for a long time, tasted success with Samantha Akkineni’s Oh Baby. Now, yesteryear actress Kalyani Kaveri is all set to test waters in Tollywood as a filmmaker. It is indeed an interesting decision to take at this point her life.

Apart from directing her first film, she has also doubled up as a producer for this film. The untitled flick will mark the debut of Chethan Cheenu in the industry. A film announcement poster was released by the makers with the hero’s rugged look. Interesting, the film will also have Suhasini Maniratnam playing a pivotal role in it. The Tamil and Telugu bilingual will be produced under the banner K2K Productions. The psychological thriller flick will go on floors in the coming weeks.
