Yatra didn’t fire up the box office as expected

Yatra movie starring Mammotty as YS Rajasekhar Reddy, concentrated mainly on the famous politician’s padayatra and showcased how he transformed into a people’s leader.

The movie got a good Word of Mouth and many thought it will have better collections on Saturday and Sunday. But it couldn’t top F2 but still managed to put up a decent performance, considering its genre.

Movie collected 5 crores share in the first weekend and it is expected to hold till the next weekend when films like Dev, Lover’s Day release. Movie needs another 7 crores to become a safe bet and distributors wish it has such legs ag the box office.
