Yash Rejected the Role of Ravana for fans Happiness

According to rumors, Yash turned down the part of Raavan in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming Ramayana, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Bollywood is preparing for yet another mythical play based on the Ramayana with the same name after Adipurush. Nitesh Tiwari, who directed Dangal, will helm the movie, which will star Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the key roles. Earlier, there were allegations that KGF star Yash, well known as Rocky Bhai, had also been cast to play antagonist Raavan. However, recent media reports indicate the opposite.

Yash, a South Asian phenomenon, has a significant fan base all over the world. In KGF 1 and 2, the actor’s portrayal of Rocky Bhai won over everyone’s hearts. However, it has now been claimed that Yash has turned down Nitesh Tiwari’s offer to play Raavan.

According to a source, Yash turned down the offer because his supporters wouldn’t let him play a bad guy. A source close to the producers reportedly stated, “Yash was really eager in doing it. He finds it harder to portray Rama convincingly than Raavan. Yash was even more eager to join the team since Ranbir Kapoor had been chosen to play Rama. But later, his staff strongly discouraged him from doing so. Even if Yash plays an antagonist as strong as Ravana, they believed his fans wouldn’t appreciate seeing him in a bad role.
