Suriya has become a special star hero in Telugu as well. Right from Ghajini, his movies like Aaru, 7th sense, Surya S/O Krishnan, 24, Ghatikudu, Veedokkade, Brothers, Singham, Yamudu, Sikander, Memu and Rakshasudu have made him a star hero even in Telugu as well. Few of the films might not have worked but Suriya is considered as a straight hero in Telugu due to his popularity. Due to this popularity, only Allu Aravind requested him to release his movie after another week from the previous plan. Taking his suggestion, Suriya and Studio Green productions decided to postpone the movie to 23rd December during the Christmas weekend.
The movie belonging to the most successful franchise in South India, Singham, is titled S3 in tamil taking the highly energetic and loud, Durai Singham, character to uncharted territories.Hari is back to write and direct the movie and instead of Devi Sri Prasad, Harris Jayaraj is giving the music and Back ground score for the movie. The movie in Tamil has released the audio. Anushka will be continuing her association as Kavya and Shruti Haasan is added to the cast as another female lead. The dubbed version, Yamudu 3 music hasn’t been released yet and the team was expected to conduct a big function.
On Contrary, the team has decided to release songs directly online and then have a Pre – Release function on 16th or 17th December and release the movie as planned on 23rd December. The songs composed by Harris are liked by Tamil audience already and the team is eagerly waiting to kick start promotions in Telugu as well. The movie is a very important film for Suriya has his last three movies including 24, haven’t been big blockbusters has they were expected to be.
