It’s a wrap for Adithya Varma

Finally, it’s a wrap to Adithya Varma, the debut film of Vikram’s son Dhruv Vikram. This film is a Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster hit Arjun Reddy. This remake version has Priya Anand and Banita Sandhu as the leading ladies. This film marks Banita’s Tamil debut and she was first seen in Bollywood film October, which released last year.

Giree Sayya, who worked as assistant director for Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of Arjun Reddy, has directed the Tamil remake version.

Anbu Thasan plays the role of Dhruv’s friend in the movie, which was essayed by Rahul Ramakrishna in the Telugu version. The young actor was noted for his performance in Kolamavu Kokila last year. Banita Sandhu has replaced Megha Chowdhury who is the heroine in the first version.

The first version ended up as a disaster and was directed by Bala. Unsatisfied with the way it shaped up, Vikram and the team of Varma have decided to go for a second version.
