Tamil Actor – Politician, Sarath Kumar came to Hyderabad for a special screening of his film, Nenorakam. The movie starring Sairam Shankar and Reshmi Menon, is releasing this weekend after being in production for long time. We were able to connect with him for few minutes, and here you can read some of the experts from our interaction.
We asked him about his experience acting in a Tekugu movie after long and the actor appeared to be in high spirits. He expressed his happiness over the character he was offered and also said that the director can survive long in the film industry. He also said that the film contains a great message about the atrocities young girls facing these days. He commented that women Empowerment is necessary in our country with the present situation.
When quizzed about his take on latest sensation about the manipulations that women are facing in Film Industry, he shared his concern about the film personalities being an easy target and said that women should come out and speak boldly about the issue rather than hiding it. Also, when asked about his take on piracy increasing in industry, he requested people to change their mindset to watch a film in a theatre rather than on a small screen.
