Women deserve respect

Shruti Hassan has been away from films after Katamarayudu, as she wanted to concentrate on her music career and also personal life. She decided to take vacation that she has been postponing from long and decided it is better to do movies that have good role for her and a strong script. The actress is working in a Hindi film and her next album now.

She talked at an event and said, “Women deserve all the respect in the world. They are making big deal out of the opportunities they are getting and are performing equal to gents everywhere. You cannot deny them that respect and even in Film Industry they deserve the respect.”

She continued, “The talk about exploitation is big here and I can understand that this is all due lack of basic respect towards the women working in Industry. They are not here to be exploited but they are here to work. I myself never faced such issues and see many respecting women around me.” She said that she will resume shooting for Sebhash Naidu, once she completes her Hindi film.
