Will we see Nishabdam release on 2nd October?

Anushka Shetty’s Nishabdam has been long in the talks for an OTT platform release. Theater owners want this movie to release in theatres but producers have been going back and forth on their release strategy for long. They have finally decided it is better to have an OTT release. As the movie genre doesn’t attract huge crowds to the film theatres in this prevailing situation, the producers felt it is better to let the film have an OTT release like “V” and reduce their losses, if not profits.

Now, we hear that the date of the film release could be 2nd October. As the OTT platforms can ask people to watch the movie collectively on such big holidays, the producers and OTT platform that bought the film are looking at that date, say sources. Even though Raj Tharun film will release on the day, OTT platform people think that there is enough opportunity for both the films to benefit. Well, in a week, an official announcement will be made on the release date, say sources. Nishabdam is directed by Hemanth Madhukar and has Madhavan, Anjali in the cast along with Anushka. Movie is a crime thriller and Anushka acted as a girl with hearing impairment.
