Will Vijayashanthi share screen space with Chiru?

Rumour mills are abuzz that in Chiranjeevi’s 150th film, being directed by V.V Vinayak, the makers are trying to get actress Vijayashanthi for an interesting cameo. “There is one special character in the film. The makers, Chiranjeevi and director V.V Vinayak felt that Vijayashanthi would be perfect for the role. So, they approached her. She was positive but hasn’t signed on the dotted line till now,” a source was quoted by an English Daily as saying.

The two actors have acted together before but there were reports that the two don’t get along very well. After differences emerged between the two during Gang Leader, they worked together in Mechanic Alludu, but decided not to do so after that. If she does accept this offer than she will be making a  comeback onscreen after more than a decade. She used to be one of India’s highest paid actresses before she quit films and moved on to politics.
