Remakes are still very popular even today, with every film industry in the country opting for remakes, despite audiences being able to watch the original films on OTT platforms, with subtitles. While the remakes rights for most movies are bought after the film’s release, and its performance, these days, the remake rights of films are being bought even before the release of a film.

There are several instances where the remake rights of films were bought before their release, but the remakes failed to happen, due to the underwhelming performance of the original film in question. Now, it is being said that the remake rights of Nani’s upcoming film, Shyam Singha Roy, are being bought, with a young actor interested in remaking the film in Bollywood.

While the teaser and the first looks from the film look highly interesting, and while there are good expectations on the film, experts are of the opinion that it is not advisable to plan on remaking the film before its release. It is now to be seen what will happen.
