Will SSMB28 Continue the Same Tempo?

The highly-anticipated project, SSMB28 in the combination of Superstar Mahesh and director Trivikram went on the floors in mid-January. Reportedly, the film’s shooting kick-started with a heavy-duty action sequence at Sarathi Studios under the supervision of the reputed fight master duo Ram-Laxman.

As per the reports, the action schedule of SSMB28 was wrapped up a few days back. Earlier, news came out that the team will take a short break and resume the shooting after a few days. Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that without any pause, the film’s shooting is underway at a rapid pace. The film’s shooting happened even on Sunday at Hi-tech City Yashoda Hospitals where the lead pair Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde participated in the shoot.

Inside reports suggest that if the same tempo continues, the film will hit the screens in August this year. Co-starring Jagapathi Babu in the antagonist role, SSMB28 also has Dhamaka beauty Sree Leela as the second heroine. Being bankrolled by the Haarika&Haasini Creations banner, SSMB28 has its music composed by Thaman.

On the other hand, the film has been receiving fancy theatrical offers. As per the reports, the film’s Nizam distribution rights are snapped by Asian Sunil Narang for a whopping Rs 50 crore. Reportedly, Dil Raju and Sunil Narang are in the race to acquire the rights but finally, Sunil locked the deal by offering an outright amount, say inside reports.
