Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has reportedly decided not to cast Deepika Padukone in his upcoming film Spirit starring Prabhas.
Now, the team is searching for a new heroine. Fans of Prabhas have started expressing their choice they want to see Mrunal Thakur as the female lead.
Although Mrunal appeared in Kalki 2898 AD, she didn’t share scenes with Prabhas. Since then, her popularity has grown in Telugu cinema, and fans feel she would make a great on-screen pair with him.
Mrunal is tall, looks good with Prabhas, and is a talented actress with a fan base in both Bollywood and South India. She also understands Telugu and might be open to dubbing her lines.
Meanwhile, another name, Rukmini Vasanth is also being considered though she may not be available due to other film commitments. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see who will be cast opposite Prabhas in Spirit.
