The shooting for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 153rd project under the direction of Kollywood director Mohan Raja has begun a couple of days back. Touted as an intense political drama, the film is an official remake of Mohanlal’s Malayalam hit, Lucifer.
Meanwhile, for the past few days news has been circulating among media circles is that the team is keen on roping in Bollywood star Salman Khan is for a key role in the movie. On the fact note, currently, Salman is busy with films such as Tiger 3, Bhaijaan and is even committed to doing a prominent role in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan. Considering Salman’s lineup of movies, will he consider Chiru’s request and allocate call sheets for the film? Remains to be seen.
On the other hand, the news is also coming in that star heroine Nayanthara is in talks for a key role in the movie but an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited. As per the sources, God Father title is under consideration for the film which is being bankrolled by NV Prasad in collaboration with Konidela Productions Company banner. SS Thaman is the film’s music director.
