Filmmaker SS Rajamouli has struggled harder than ever to put together the cast of his upcoming mega-budget flick, RRR. Starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, the film is a fictitious story based on the life of Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Earlier, the film was supposed to hit the theatres on July 26, 2020. However, due to delay in film production, the film has now been postponed to January 8, 2021, targeting the Sankranti next film. Going by the latest rumours, the film might Sankranti date if the situation prevails.
Recently, it was reported that Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Jr NTR have decided not to continue the film’s shooting to the spread of pandemic coronavirus. The situation in India seems to be worsening by every day and it looks like it might take a while for everything to get back to normalcy. If the shooting of RRR gets delayed further, then it would be difficult for the filmmaker to get dates from several actors for the film’s shoot, which could result in the postponement of the film. At this point, there is no clarity on RRR being postponed to a later date in 2021.
