Rajamouli and Prabhas created a huge wonder in the form of the Baahubali franchise, which changed the Indian film industry completely. There was never before, such a success in the country, where the people of the nation rushed to the theatres to watch a film. This began a trend of pan-Indian films and catapulted Prabhas to pan-Indian stardom.
Prabhas currently has Radhe Shyam ready for release, on March 11th, and the film is doing extraordinary pre-release business, having made Rs. 202.80 Crores so far, next only to Baahubali 2 and Saaho, both of which he headlined. Given that Radhe Shyam still has another day to go before the pre-release business closes, it is to be seen what the final figure of the pre-release business would be.
On the other hand, with RRR ready to release on March 25th, and given that it’s directed by Rajamouli himself, everyone is wondering if RRR would be able to create new records and if it will be able to occupy any of the first three positions, replacing Prabhas’s films.
