Ram Charan and Jr NTR are presently busy shooting for his upcoming mega-budget flick, RRR, helmed by SS Rajamouli. Even though the project has been on for a long time, the shooting got postponed multiple times due to unknown reasons. Earlier, RRR was slated to hit the theatres on July 30, 2020. However, according to the latest announcement, the film’s release has been postponed to January 8, 2021. It looks like the film might get postponed further. The film, which is made on a grand scale of Rs 450 crore, is a fictitious tale on Telugu freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
Reportedly, Rajamouli had planned another schedule for the film’s shoot in the coming. Due to the spread of the novel coronavirus, film shootings have been stalled till March 31. The situation could extend until April if the coronavirus positive cases continue to increase in the coming days. India is approaching the crucial fourth and fifth week in which the number of cases would usually spike. If it does, it will throw the entire RRR team off guard and might also delay production. Let’s hope things get better and people are able to curb the spread of coronavirus.
