Will Rana’s next lean too much to left ideology?

Dear Comrade film tried to mix the Left or Communist ideology into a simple love story and that blend did not work perfectly for the film. May be the young director did not get the screenplay as he had to balance the image of Geetha Govindam pair – Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna with Arjun Reddy image of Vijay, while telling his story. But some producers or on-lookers opined that too much left ideology stopped working on Telugu Silver screens as the parties went into decline, in the Telugu states. Now, Rana’s next, Virataparvam seems to have left ideology leaning script and it is pitted as a love story too.

Needi Naadi Oke Katha fame, Venu Odugula is directing the movie and he is the writer as well. Movie team released first look with Sai Pallavi sitting at a martyr’s tomb waiting for someone in casual dress. The look accurately depicts the 90’s but the left leaning story will be a problem for this film too? We hope that won’t be the case and the movie has more moments to shine than any other romances that came out earlier.
