Will Rajamouli come up with direct OTT films?

Many might be wondering if SS Rajamouli needs to make direct OTT films or web series, as entire Nation like India is waiting to watch his films in theatres. As a director, he doesn’t have to worry about it but as a producer, he might have different plans. Yes, the director and his father – famous writer, Vijayendra Prasad always wanted to set up a production house and produce films that coincide with their taste, it seems. Hence, they have been working out on all logistics to make that plan into a reality.

Rajamouli wanted to make a big budget film different from regular commercial pot boilers, to not just keep making films like Simhadri, Chatrapathi all the time and hence, he established Viswamitra Creations for Yamadonga. Post that film, he produced Andala Rakshasi and then decided to postpone his plans of continuing as a producer and directed Baahubali. Now, he feels with OTT market booming, he can bring back the idea of producing different films and web-series into action, it seems.
