Pawan Kalyan is making a grand comeback in Tollywood with director Venu Sriram’s Vakeel Saab. The film is an official Telugu remake of Bollywood blockbuster flick Pink, which starred Taapsee Pannu, Amitabh Bachchan, Kriti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang. Since the actor will be seen on the big screen after two years, all eyes are on him. The film, as reported earlier, imparts an important message about consent and safety. Director Venu Sriram is said to have made slight changes to the script to suit the Telugu audience sensibilities.
When Pink was remade in Tamil as Nerkonda Paarvai, director H Vinoth had introduced two songs and a fight sequence to cater to Ajith’s fans. The director’s vision was applauded as these new inclusions did not spoil the film’s content. It is rumoured that Venu Sriram is also following the same for Vakeel Saab. If the grapevine is believed to be true, then the makers might sign on Ileana D’Cruz to romance Pawan Kalyan in Vakeel Saab. In Tamil, the makers roped in Vidya Balan as Ajith’s pair and had a separate song for the pair. An official confirmation regarding Ileana’s inclusion is still awaited.
