Will Ghajini 2 End Aamir Khan’s Break from Films?

Allu Aravind, a Telugu film producer, reportedly met with Aamir Khan several times. Do they have plans for Ghajini 2?

In order to spend more time with his family, Aamir Khan declared in November 2022 that he would take a year vacation from acting following the poor box office performance of Laal Singh Chaddha. Aamir announced that he would just be producing alongside Sony Pictures India and not acting in RS Prasanna’s Campeones remake, which was expected to begin filming soon. However, Khan is back in the news six months after the announcement because he has sparked rumours about his upcoming project.

According to rumours, Aamir is travelling to Hyderabad to meet with Telugu producer Allu Aravind to discuss forthcoming projects. This may allude to Ghajini 2.

While details have been kept quiet, rumours are circulating that Aamir Khan and Allu Aravind have met for the second time in three months, raising the possibility of a future project. Although Aamir’s team hasn’t provided any details, a source close to the actor has revealed, “Aamir Khan is discussing a project with producer Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts, and they met last week again for the same. They have discussed several project ideas and are eager to work together. But at this point, it is just a mere conversation, with no concrete development so far.”

He also said, “Aamir and Allu Aravind have met on numerous occasions during the last 4-5 months. However, everything has been kept so secretive that nobody is aware of what is actually cooking. Ghajini 2 is definitely one of the projects under consideration, but it’s not yet certain what the other projects are. When things fall into place, we might learn about some developments, but for the time being, it’s all been kept under wraps.”

Aamir Khan plays Sanjay Singhania, a prominent businessman with anterograde amnesia, in the 2008 vengeance remake thriller Ghajini, one of the superhit films of his career. Aamir’s outstanding performance was praised all around the country. Suriya played Sanjay Ramasamy in the original south Indian version of the film.
