Geetha Govindam has given Vijay Devarakonda an entry into the club of heroes and stars, who gave Rs. 60 crores share and above films which has been done by Top stars of Telugu Films like Prabhas, NTR, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh only. The movie collected a gross of 110 crores at the box office in just 19 days and it is set to make a profit of more than Rs. 50 crores just from theatricals.
We hear a rumour that the movie could be remade in Tamil as few directors and producers are approaching Geetha Arts, the main producers for rights of the film. Vijay Devarakonda has developed a good market in Urban Tamil Nadu with the dubbed version of Arjun Reddy and the movie collected more than any Telugu movie, except for Baahubali films, there. So, remaking that is already popular could become a risky affair!
