Will Drushyam 2 makers tilt towards this fancy offer?

It is widely known that hero Venkatesh has started shooting for Drushyam 2, the official Telugu remake of the acclaimed Malayalam thriller Drishyam 2 from the month of March. Recently, news also came out that already Venkatesh has wrapped up his part of the shooting for the film.

As per the industry sources, a couple of weeks back news also came out that the makers are planning to release the film on June 20th as International Father’s Day special. But the latest grapevine is that the film has got a fancy offer from the noted OTT platform Amazon Prime for direct streaming. It remains to be seen if the makers tilt towards the OTT offer or go ahead with the theatrical release in the coming days.

Being helmed by Malayalam director Jeethu Joseph, the Telugu remake also stars Meena, Krithika, Esther Anil and Nadiya in key roles. Suresh Babu and Anthony Perumbavoor are producing Drushyam 2.

Apart from Drushyam 2, Venky also has promising films Narappa and F3 in the pipeline.
