Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya’s rural entertainer, Bangarraju is scheduled for January 14th release. Even Nag in the recent promotional event revealed that the ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh are enough for his film to be a safe bet for all the parties.
But since yesterday, news has been circulating among social media platforms is that the AP government is going to impose night curfew across the state from 10 PM to 5 AM and also restrict the occupancy in the theatres to 50%. Meanwhile, the latest coming in from media circles is that considering the spike in the Covid third wave cases across twin Telugu states, Bangarraju’s team is planning to postpone the film’s release indefinitely. However, an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.
Being directed by Kalyan Krishna, Bangarraju also stars Ramya Krishna and Krithi Shetty in prominent roles. While Anup Rubens is the music composed, Nag in association with Zee Studios produced the film.
