Will August turn out to be a miracle month?

Tollywood was going through a major slump after the release of films like RRR and KGF 2, with no film managing to perform well at the box office. After a few months, August finally gave a major respite, with the month starting off with two major hits in the form of Sita Ramam and Bimbisara, and then following up that success with Karthikeya 2.

These three films are managing to keep the audience engaged even now, and are continuing to collect well at the box office, with Karthikeya 2 managing to bring in big numbers across India. The month is about to end on August 25th, with the final release for August, Liger. While there are good expectations on the film, there’s an equal share of skepticism surrounding the film’s performance as well.

With the film’s release being just a couple of days away, it is to be seen how August will turn out, and if it will turn out to be a miracle month for Tollywood. It is then to be seen how September will fare.
