Why should an actress be apologetic for their body structure?

Keerthy Suresh appeared on Telugu and Tamil Screens as a chubby and highly charismatic actress. She grew few more pounds to appear as Savitri for Mahanati and post the film, she decided to reduce her weight. Now, this shouldn’t have become an issue for anyone, as it is her choice to look however she wants. Secondly, directors request actors to change their looks according to the script demands. So, these shouldn’t be becoming issues for anyone looking at them from outside.

It would be easy to comment on a person about their looks but it is hard to face the reality being in their shoes. Even then, it is okay to ask a person why did they chose to reduce weight or even about change in their looks. But asking them about bikinis or lingerie seems to offensive. Why should an actress be subjected to such questions? Why should an actress be apologetic about what they wear, how they look? It is all part of their profession and if there is something that is needed to be said, it will be highlighted. At times, we seem to loose our decency with such over the top questions.
