Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika are coming together for the first time after their wedding in Ranabaali. The film is releasing during the Dasara season, and promotions are currently underway.
However, their recent interviews focused more on their personal and married life than the film, leading to criticism and trolling on social media.
Director Rahul Sankrityan revealed that Ranabaali involved extensive research and was inspired by real-life incidents.
Set in Rayalaseema before Independence, the film explores a drought situation from that period. Rahul spent years researching the subject and visiting villages across the region.
The upcoming promotions should focus more on the film’s scale, the actors efforts and the technicians work. Ranabaali is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and releases on October 16th.
