Why People Stay In Unhealthy Marriages: Celina Jaitly

Celina Jaitly opened up about her painful marriage and shared an important message that love alone cannot fix an unhealthy relationships.

She spoke about endurance and survival and clearly said why many people remain in difficult marriages. Celina is currently involved in a divorce and domestic violence case against her former husband, hotelier Peter Haag.

In a post Celina reflected on the emotional struggles she faced over a long time. She said she once believed that loving more while staying patient and trying harder would save the marriage. Over a long time she get to know that no amount of love can change a person or heal a relationship that is already broken, no one can fix it.

She shared that writing became her only outlet when she felt unheard. Her early writing were filled with hope and love, written for her family and children.

Later they reflected her pain, silence and emotional suffering. Celina also said that people stay in abusive marriages not out of weakness but because of love, fear and hope.
