The ticket pricing issue in the state of Andhra Pradesh is turning into a severe problem with each passing day. Though the AP High Court has dismissed the new ticket prices GO released by the government earlier this year, challenging the same, the government approached Division Bench against the Single Judge verdict. This morning, news came out that the hearing for the petition is pushed to Monday.
Later, news also came out that the theatre owners should approach the respective district Joint Collectors if they have any special appeals regarding the ticket prices. But one thing that is surprising everyone is that where is Megastar Chiranjeevi when the whole industry is shaking because of this ticket prices issue in AP.
It is well-known that Chiranjeevi along with AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s close aide Nagarjuna met the CM earlier this year and discussed various issues the Telugu cinema has been facing and even requested Jagan’s government to look into the ticket hike issue also but later the two senior actors went into a silent mood and not even trying to meet the government on the ongoing ticket pricing issue which is now worrying the Telugu cinema producers and the distributors across Andhra Pradesh.
