Tanuja, who is also an actress and Kajol’s mother, once slapped the Bollywood heartthrob when he made advances towards her.
The 87-year-old celebrity wed Prakash Kaur when they were just 19 years old. Things, however, took an odd turn one day when Dharmendra tried to flirt with her and was slapped by his co-star. One day he tried to flirt with me, Tanuja added. I was shocked, so I smacked him and said, “Besharam! You have the gall to flirt with me, I know your wife. The Apne star urged Tanuja to make him his Rakhi brother as he felt humiliated. “Tanu, meri Maa, sorry bolta hoon! He begged, embarrassed,” she said. Make me your brother, please. She then wrapped the actor’s wrist in a black thread.
