It is well-known that hero Adivi Sesh is working on a biopic, titled Major. The film is based on the life story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the brave NSG commando who lost his life during the 26/11 attacks at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai.
In the month of April, the team has even revealed the film’s first look teaser. After wrapping up more than seven percent of its shooting, the film’s shooting was stalled due to Covid second wave impact in April. Meanwhile, the latest news is that the film will resume its shooting in the month of July. Confirming the same, Adivi Sesh this morning tweeted “When we began #MajorTheFilm last year 🙂 #Chitkul was never colder. But brilliant visuals and amazing people led to great memories. Can’t wait to start filming in July. An Epic Story inspired by the life of #MajorSandeepUnnikrishnan 🙂 @SharathWho”. But the twist is that the post is currently unavailable on Adivi Sesh’s Timeline. Why did Adivi Sesh delete the tweet has now become a trending topic among the film circles.
Sobhita Dhulipala and Bollywood actress Saiee Manjrekar will be seen in crucial roles in Major. Sony Pictures Productions and A+S Movies in association with Mahesh Babu’s GMB Productions are bankrolling the film. Shashi Kiran Tikka is the film’s director.
