Reports say Akshaye Khanna asked for a fee of Rs. 21 crore to act in Drishyam 3 after the success of Dhurandhar. This demand reportedly caused issues with the producers, leading to his exit from the Ajay Devgn and Tabu film.
Akshaye is currently enjoying huge appreciation for his role as Rehman Baloch in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar. His dialogues and dance moves have gone viral, increasing interest in his next film.
While many thought he left Drishyam 3 due to creative differences reports claim money was the main reason. Sources say the makers felt the amount was too high and would affect the budget.
Akshaye, however, felt his increased popularity justified the fee. When talks failed, he reportedly exited the project on good terms.
There were also minor disagreements, including Akshaye wanting to wear a wig which the makers were not comfortable with. No official statement has been released yet. Meanwhile reports also say Dhurandhar co-star Ranveer Singh may have exited Don 3.
