Ahaan Panday says he doesn’t consider himself as a star kid even though he comes from a family connected to Bollywood circle.
His uncle Chunky Panday is a well known actor and his cousin Ananya Panday is already a top actress but Ahaan says his journey has never felt privileged.
He explained that his father, Chikki Panday may know big stars but he is not a star himself. That’s why Ahaan always felt like he was “behind a fence”, close to the film world but not truly inside it.
He said that growing up he could see the industry up close and learn from it but he never felt like he belonged to it.
Ahaan also shared that his parents were unsure about him choosing acting because they had witnessed the highs and lows of Chunky Panday’s career. Still Ahaan was fearless and gave his first audition at 16.
