Just when Oopiri had realeased sometime back, people say that whatever film is rejected by NTR, it goes on to become a superhit. Well, not always is that true. Reports have been doing the rounds that director Srikanth Addala had actually narrated the script of the film to NTR once. NTR reportedly wasn’t okay with the narrative of the film and had request the director to tweak it. However, that didn’t happen and NTR said no to the film. He later went on to work on Nannaku Prematho.
Later, Addala, narrated the film to Mahesh Babu roped in PVP to produce the project. There were also reports that Mahesh Babu had suggested a few changes as he wasn’t to happy with the story either. However, it was NTR who was smart enough to reject the project. And after the thumbs down from the critics, it seems like Mahesh Babu’s summer jinx is kind of true.
