Did you know there were two more performers considered for the War 2 role opposite Hrithik Roshan besides Telugu actor Jr. NTR?
Jr. NTR, a well-known Telugu actor, has been basking in the spotlight ever since his movie RRR won the coveted Oscar earlier this year. He is reportedly being cast as the bad guy opposite Hrithik Roshan in War 2, according to recent rumors, which has many of his admirers in a frenzy.
The Telugu actor wasn’t the first option for the role, despite the fact that it will be exciting to see him make his Bollywood debut in the spy action movie as the villain. Before choosing the Temper actor, the producers contacted a number of other A-list celebrities.
According to Cine Josh, the War 2 producers first intended to cast Young Rebel Star Prabhas, but the Baahubali actor declined the role, citing prior commitments. Later, the filmmakers intended to cast Vijay Devarakonda as Rowdy Star. But for some reason, Vijay Devarakonda changed his mind. Finally, NTR embraced the offer when it came his way.
Additionally, there was a report that Ayan Mukerji will replace Siddharth Anand as the director of War 2. The director recently announced the release dates for Brahmastra 2 and 3 and said he would be working on another film during the hiatus, which sparked speculation that he will direct the sequel. When questioned about it at an event, the director retained a smile on his face without saying anything.
According to several rumors, Alia Bhatt is being considered for the role of the movie’s female lead. However, there are indications that the decision about the movie’s eagerly anticipated female lead has not yet been finalized. The three actresses being considered are Sharvari Wagh, Alia Bhatt, and Deepika Padukone.
