Who is going to replace Nani?

Natural Star Nani came back to form with the resounding success of his last film, Shyam Singha Roy, which was released in December. The film turned out to be a good success for the actor, especially with his prior two films getting a direct OTT release, and failing to impress the audience. Shyam Singha Roy was released in all the South Indian languages but didn’t release in Hindi.

The remake rights for the film in Hindi were bought, and currently, sources say that the casting and other works for the film are going on. Shahid Kapoor and Ajay Devgn are said to be in consideration for Nani’s role. Given that many consider Nani’s performance in the film as one of his career-best, followed by Jersey, it would be interesting to see who would replace the actor in Bollywood, and if they would be able to come anywhere close to Nani.

Shyam Singha Roy is directed by Rahul Sankrityan, with Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty playing the leading ladies, and Madonna Sebastian and Rahul Ravindran seen in important roles.
