Salaar, a massive project in the combination of pan-India star Prabhas and director Prashanth Neel of KGF fame went on the floors in early 2021. After wrapping up an action sequence, the film’s shooting is stalled due to the Covid second wave crisis.
Later, in the second half of 2021, the film’s shooting resumed and wrapped up yet another action schedule. Afterwards, the film’s shooting is stalled yet again as Prabhas shifted his focus on his Bollywood debut project, Adipurush under the direction of Om Raut. Now, the latest we hear from our sources is that the shooting for Salaar will resume from May 1st week with a massive action schedule in Hyderabad. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be out soon.
Touted as a high voltage gangster drama, Salaar has Shruti Haasan as the female lead. Ravi Basrur of KGF fame is composing soundtracks for Salaar. Jagapathi Babu is playing the role of antagonist in this high budget entertainer.
