Despite the setback impacting its buzz, the recently unveiled trailer worked wonders, bolstering strong theatrical business for the film, even amidst tough competition from Salaar in its 2nd weekend.
Across Andhra’s 6 territories, Devil raked in an impressive 8.5 Cr. Ceeded rights were sold at 3.25 Cr, contributing to the film’s total Telugu states business of approximately 18 Cr. Worldwide, the movie garnered around 21 Cr, marking a commendable success, especially considering its reportedly substantial budget.
The trailer teased a gripping action thriller, blending a murder mystery with a patriotic undertone, promising an enthralling cinematic experience. Abhishek Pictures helmed Devil, with Srikanth Vissa penning the story and dialogues. Noteworthy contributions came from Soundarajan in cinematography and Gandhi Nadikudikar in artwork, while Harshavardhan Rameshwar composed the music.
