Hrithik Roshan shared his career goals in an exclusive interview to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his movie Koi Mil Gaya.
Today, August 8, the movie Koi… Mil Gaya, with Hrithik Roshan and Preity G. Zinta in the major roles, marks its 20th anniversary. In spite of its 2003 debut, the Rakesh Roshan-helmed cult classic continues to have a huge following among viewers. The audience was extremely impressed with Hrithik’s portrayal of a mentally impaired character in the movie. In a recent, exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, the actor shared his childhood ideal, which was very different from who he is today, as well as the motivation behind it.
Hrithik and his cool dad Rakesh Roshan engaged in a great fan engagement during the private meeting. The Kaho Na Pyaar Hai actor said that he wanted to be an astronaut when asked by a fan what he wanted to be as a child if not an actor.
“Honestly, I always wanted to be an astronaut. But through an actor I’ve reached half of space toh pahaunch gaya hoon (I’ve reached half of the space)”, he said.
When asked about his inspiration he said that was interested by the mystery of space. Hrithik said, “I was very fascinated by the mystery of space”. To this, Rakesh Ji added, “So I kept him here and I got Jadoo from space”.
The movie has been re-released in theatres all around the nation by the creators to commemorate the 20th anniversary in a particularly remarkable way.
Hrithik last appeared with Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte in Vikram Vedha. His upcoming film, Fighter, also has Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, and Karan Singh Grover in significant roles. The Siddharth Anand-directed movie premiered in theatres in January 2024. Additionally, he has War 2 with Kiara Advani and Jr. NTR.
