However, the recently unveiled trailer significantly boosted anticipation and managed to draw in a strong audience response.
Despite contending with competition from the second weekend of the formidable film “Salaar,” “Devil” still achieved commendable box office success. In terms of business, the film’s Andhra business across six territories is estimated at around 8.5 Cr, with Ceeded rights selling for 3.25 Cr. The overall business in the Telugu states is projected to reach 18 Cr, and worldwide business is expected to hit 21 Cr.
These figures are considered substantial, particularly considering reports indicating a substantial production budget for “Devil.” The trailer hinted at an intense action-packed narrative, starting with a murder mystery and culminating with a patriotic element.
