The makers of Kathanar: The Wild Sorcerer have unveiled Anushka Shetty’s breathtaking first look from the film and fans are showering her with praise for her regal and graceful appearance.

Making her Malayalam debut, Anushka joins this ambitious fantasy thriller directed by Rojin Thomas and written by R. Ramanand.

The film revolves around the legendary tale of Kadamattathu Kathanar which is a 9th century Christian priest said to possess magical powers. Jayasurya takes on the lead role while Prabhu Deva plays a important part in the story.

Set against a huge backdrop filled with mystery and supernatural elements Kathanar aims to blend myth, magic and emotion in a visually stunning way.
