What is the status of Nag’s The Ghost?

It is well-known that Nagarjuna has a project titled, The Ghost in the pipeline. This Praveen Sattaaru directorial went on the floors last April. After wrapping up a minor schedule in Goa, the film’s shooting was halted due to the COVID second wave crisis.

Later, the film never resumed its shooting due to some creative differences between the team members. In the meantime, Nag also became busy with Bangarraju and now as he is free from the promotional activities of Bangarraju, the actor left for Goa along with his wife and is in self-isolation for the past week or so at a guest house in Goa.

Meanwhile, the latest news is that all the differences between the team members of The Ghost are sorted out and planning to resume the shooting in Dubai. Reportedly, Nag will be joining the film sets in Dubai from next week. Kajal Aggarwal was the first choice for the female lead in The Ghost but as she is expected her first child soon, the team replaced her with Sonal Chauhan. Asian Cinemas banner is bankrolling the movie and is expected to release in the second half of 2022.
