Bheemla Nayak starring Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles generated solid revenues in its first week. By the end of its seven-day run at the ticket windows, Bheemla Nayak emerged as a safe venture in the overseas and recovered close to seventy percent of the invested amount in domestic markets.
While everyone expected that the film will have a good theatrical run during the crucial second weekend, the film disappointed by generating below-par revenues. By the end of its ten-day run, Bheemla Nayak has collected a worldwide share of more than of Rs 90 crore share and has to recover close to Rs 12 crore to be termed as a hit. As Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam and Suriya’s ET are gearing up for a release during this weekend, the chances for Bheemla Nayak to emerge as a hit are very less, opinion the market analysts.
A few trade experts opinion that Feburary release and lack of repeat value in the movie are the main reasons for the underwhelming performance of Bheemla Nayak at the box office. Overall, the film is likely to end up as an average grosser with close to 20 percentage of losses in Andhra, Ceded regions and 5-10 percent losses in Nizam, say sources.
