What is Sukumar’s game plan for Pushpa 2?

Happening star actor-director duo Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s rustic drama, Pushpa- The Rise released in 2021 went on to become a sensational hit at the Indian box office. The film has Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.

Meanwhile, for the past few months news has been circulating among social media circles that to increase the buzz for the second installment of Pushpa, director Sukumar is planning to bring on board more glamour to the proceedings by roped in yet another heroine. But the latest we hear from our sources is that Rashmika Mandanna will be the lone female lead in the movie.

Already buzz is circulating that along with Fahadh Faasil,the film will also star Vijay Sethupathi in the bad cop role. Amidst high expectations, the shooting for Pushpa 2 is expected to go on the floors in September. Devi Sri Prasad will be scoring soundtracks for this actioner which is going to be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers banner.
